About Mrs. LaBelle
Born raised and educated in Oregon, I am a wife and a mother of two. I have been an elementary teacher for the past 10 years. I consider teaching a passion, and truly feel that if you do something you love, it will never feel like work. Outside of teaching I enjoy the simple things in life like spending time with my family, reading and working on creative projects. Some of my hobbies are jogging, crafting and cooking. I believe in being mindful and purposeful in order to create a vibrant enthusiastic outlook on life.
My Teaching Philosophy
I love to teach. I love teaching when:
- I see students listening, sharing and engaging in their own learning.
- I hear students excited and contributing in a way that shows mastery of a skill.
- I observe students interacting positively with each other.
- I get a sense that I am making a difference.
